October has been a month full of energy, awareness, and celebration here at Encore Healthcare and Rehabilitation at Malvern.
We kicked things off with a powerful show of support during our Pink Out Friday for Breast Cancer Awareness. The turnout was amazing, and we’re so grateful to everyone who participated, even those who didn’t make it into the photo. A special shoutout to the EMTs who joined us in their breast cancer shirts. Thank you for standing with us and for all that you do.
Later in the month, our residents were treated to a sweet surprise, fresh-baked cookies from our talented Activity Director. Some fun and fitness followed the delicious treats as we danced and played basketball to work it all off. Huge thanks to our restorative aide, Cassidy, for helping make it all happen.
We also had the pleasure of enjoying a beautiful performance from the Magnet Cove Junior and Senior High Choir. Their music filled our halls and hearts, making it a truly special moment.
And what’s October without a parade? Our residents got outside to enjoy the Malvern High School Homecoming Parade, soaking up the fresh air and festive spirit. To wrap up the month, we celebrated with a well-deserved happy hour, filled with laughter and good company.
